Hydra (server product)

The Hydra product comes with the following components:
  • Main software server: to run the service on a hardware platform of your choice (Linux or Windows).
  • Administration tools: to configure and execute the service, to manage the data used by the service, and to generate reports.
  • Software Development Kit: to create and configure libraries specific to an application, version or package; to create libraries for each supported compiler. No limits on how many applications can be protected.
  • Documentation.
  • Technical support: access to hotline for 3 months; software maintenance for 1 year.

    Hydra Online (hosted managed service)

    Byssus Hydra Online is a fully managed service that includes:
  • Generation of libraries on demand. No limit in term of applications, versions or packages.
  • Unlimited number of application trials and licence activations over the Internet.
  • Growth of the server farm as traffic increases in line with increase in sales, new applications and versions.
  • All systems and network management: configuration, security, backups, tuning, upgrades, etc.
  • Monthly reports: statistics and non-personal customer information.
  • All hardware and bandwidth costs.
  • Technical support: access to hotline for 3 months

    Byssus's Hydra Online Checkout is an optional extension to Hydra Online. It adds additional services which are not found in the product version of Hydra:
  • Credit & Debit card payment processing.
  • Prevention, detection and protection against card fraud.
  • Monthly reports: accounting, revenue, VAT.
  • All bank commissions and fees related to card payment over the Internet.
  • All additional bandwidth and CPU costs.
