Protect early. Don't wait until your application has become a success
As a developer, it is tempting to play the waiting game.

Unfortunately, the time you first learn you have a piracy
problem, may be too late.
Will the next version you distribute add sufficient value in new features and
functionality to persuade end-users to stop using an earlier unprotected or poorly
